Bikes and bike culture are my life.  ground up is my life's work. I am Eric Baar and I specialize in custom fabricated bicycle frames made of steel, aluminum or titanium.  ground up is best known for meticulous craftsmanship and creative designs in bicycles, specifically track bicycles for racing at the velodrome, as well as road, mountain, bmx, trials, etc. Eric is at a master level of TIG welding and brazing and enjoys bringing new ideas to life with those skills.

Eric's philosophy toward his creations is simple: no two projects the same, designed from the ground up. 

groundupdesigns is not entirely Eric Baar.
